Who is responsible for your data

The organiser named on the event page (for the Women\’s Premier League, the Satav office team) decides why your details are collected and is responsible for them. UtsavSetu provides the software that stores them on the organiser's behalf and sends the messages.

What we collect

• For every player: name and mobile number. Email is optional.
• The team name and the address of the team, or of each player.
• Proof of consent: the wording you accepted, the date and time, and the network address you used.

Why we use it

• To register your team for the tournament and run it.
• To send each player a WhatsApp confirmation (and an email if one was given) and tournament updates such as fixtures.
• To prevent duplicate and fake registrations.

We do not sell your details. They are used only for this tournament. The organiser must ask for separate consent before using them for anything else.

Consent of the players

The captain confirms that every listed player has agreed to be contacted. Any player can reply STOP to a WhatsApp message to stop receiving messages, or ask the organiser to remove her details.

Who sees your data

Only the organiser's authorised team. Our service providers process it to deliver the service: MongoDB (database), Meta WhatsApp Business Platform (messages), Resend (email), Cloudflare (security checks and hosting) and Vercel and Render (hosting).

How long we keep it

Registration details are kept for up to 12 months after the event ends, unless the organiser deletes them earlier, and are then deleted or anonymised.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details by contacting the organiser, or by writing to privacy@utsavsetu.in.
